Langat Hill and Politics

My friends dragged me to Langat Hill after work yesterday with the promise of sending me back to my grandparents' place by 10. My heart works sometimes and I didn't want to keep them up late as I had forgotten to bring my keys with me.

Anyway, the KL skyline was gorgeous from the top. I hadn't seen KL like that and it was refreshing to not want to stomp on the buildings for once. Food was alright, inexpensive and arrived rather quick. Once the immediate family has returned from their week of frolicking on the beaches of Bali, I'll probably take them there. If I can remember the route.

Now for politics in general.

I think it's great that all the parties now can have their say in the main media (sort-of). That's the only good thing I've seen so far.

I don't think Anwar is the answer for Malaysia's problems though. Oh I know..

BOO HISSS BOOOOOOOO!! HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE ANWAR?!? HE'S LYKE TEH SAVIOUR OF M'SIA'S END TYMES!!

I just don't. I don't like BN. I don't like PKR. I don't like any of the other (if any) alternatives.

Don't get me wrong though. I know there are genuinely good people from within all components but their voices are drowned in the midst of corrupted power. I applaud them for trying to stick to their principles and their efforts in truly trying to change the nation.

I'm not jaded enough to enter politics. I thought I was but I'm not. I'll be honest about it. I don't care enough. It's harsh but what's the point of trying your damndest to open minds and giving a damn about people who don't care about themselves anyway?

If you don't want to take a stand for yourself, why should I for your sake? What makes you so damned important?

Nada.

That said though I'm starting my own political party.
